Lucy A. Vezzuto, PhD, is a Fulbright Scholar in Education and a Coordinator of Student Mental Health, Social-emotional Learning and School Climate for the Orange County Dept. of Education. She provides training and technical assistance in the prevention and early identification of student mental health issues for adults who serve youth. She is a certified trainer for the International Institute for Restorative Practices. She is a member of the California Dept. of Education’s Student Mental Health Policy Workgroup and a member of the Orange County Health Care Agency Mental Health Steering Committee. She is a member of the California Department of Education’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Initiative’s state leadership team advising on social and emotional learning.
