Hear one rural district’s journey, as a Cohort I CA SUMS Grantee, as they designed and launched a community collaborative to build partnerships with universities, non-profits and community agencies to provide academic, behavioral and social-emotional supports. As a key strategy for MTSS implementation, OUSD opened a family resource center to leverage the power of partnerships to create an eco-system to respond to student, staff and family needs. From lessons learned to specific planning tools, participants will leave with practical resources to begin developing meaningful community collaborations.
