We will discuss the relevance and process of bringing the MTSS framework and components into site grade level Professional Learning Communities. PLCs are a valuable venue of collaborating with other professionals and using relevant data to drive student outcomes through instructional changes, access to resources, data collection and progress monitoring. PRJUSD has been trained on the Achievement Team Model to use during PLCs. Teachers are working towards creating success criteria and learning intentions across subject matter as aligned with CCSS. In addition, we are focused on using meaningful data analysis to drive instructional practices and strategies. Using the MTSS framework, PLC collaboration shifts focus from solely academic to seeing the needs of the entire child.
