In this session, we introduce the Inflexion Approach as a framework schools are using to implement California's Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning in a fully integrated system of support for the benefit of all students.The Inflexion Approach is an organizational framework specifically designed to support schoolwide implementation efforts and to build learning communities that work for all students. The Approach articulates four connected elements - Identity, Structures, Learning Approaches, and a holistic definition of Student Readiness - critical to ensuring all students leave high school ready for success in their chosen postsecondary pathways. We believe that a clear, shared organizational identity informs the structuresneeded to support learning and empower readiness for all students. As part of the session, we provide examples of how secondary schools throughout California, Oregon, and Washington are approaching MTSS implementation using the Inflexion Approach.
