This session will provide an overview of the why, what and how of engaging all students in tiered system of physical activity programming addresses all the defining features of MTSS while supporting the needs of the Whole Child. Participants will:
·     Explore recent research about the extraordinary effects of physical activity on the brain and learning in terms of academic and behavioral outcomes
·     Learn about effective Tier 1 and 2 interventions using Standards-aligned, evidence-based, health-related fitness education curriculum, instruction and assessment
