Are you are looking for a session where you can learn about resources, supports and offer input to the State on identifying/mapping Bright Spots that support a diverse student population? If so, you have landed in the right place! This session will focus on identifying bright spots as an integral part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) Priorities/Whole Child Resource Map (https://www.cde.ca.gov/eo/in/lcff1sys-resources.asp). This session offers a mix of information and participant engagement which include:
  • Laying the Foundation: An Overview of State Resources and Supports
  • Identifying/Sharing LEA Challenges 
  • Defining Bright Spots Activity 
  • Spotlight on Bright Spots: Connecting the Data à Whole Child/LCFF Categories à Resources Circuit
