Dr. Alisia Moutry, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is the President/CEO of 4AM Consulting, LLC, established since September 2010. Blending the worlds of business and education, 4AM Consulting, LLC, provides facilitation and professional development services. From focus groups, to training sessions to customized work groups, customers receive professional services delivered with integrity while being in experienced hands. Areas of strong interest and expertise include: facilitating, coaching, culturally responsive practices, cycle of inquiry process, implementation science, teaming structures, multi-tier system of support, visioning, management leadership skills, school, district & business improvement action planning, in addition to customized needs to name a few. Some past and current clients of 4AM Consulting include: Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #1, Greater Milwaukee Boys and Girls Club, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, St. Ann’s Center for Intergenerational Care, University of Minnesota-Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement, University of Kansas-School-wide Integrated Framework for Transformation (SWIFT) Center, Data Based Conferences-Pros in Professional Development, the school districts of Menomonee Falls, Mequon Thiensville, Milwaukee Public Schools, Racine Unified, Kenosha, Madison and Green Bay. As of June 2018, Dr. Moutry is a full-time entrepreneur with 4AM Consulting. Nevertheless, her past experiences have been the foundation of her success. Dr. Moutry was employed by Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) for 18 years. At MPS she held the positions of teacher, full time first year teacher mentor, and several district level positions. Dr. Moutry worked at the Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) #1, as the Statewide Director of the Responsive Education for ALL Children Grant and as the local Chief of Staff for the Jamie S. Settlement Agreement. working directly with the court appointed and nationally known, Independent Expert, W. Alan Coulter, Ph.D. Dr. Moutry was the Executive Director of the Milwaukee Teacher Education Center (MTEC) a statewide non-profit alternative certification and training program. Dr. Moutry was a Regional Director for the University of Kansas-School-wide Integrated Framework for Transformation (SWIFT) Center supporting and scaling up Multi-Tiered Systems of Support in school districts across several regions in California. In Special Education Practices: Personal Narratives of African American Scholars, Educators, and Related Professionals, Dr. Moutry has a published article entitled, All Children are Special: Response-to- Intervention for African American Students with Nova Science Publisher of Hauppauge, New York. No matter the work and or activities at hand, Dr. Moutry stays close to her passion for teaching, learning and, leadership.
