Director
Kim brings over 15 years of experience in youth activism and engagement through After School programs, Youth & Government, sport and community service. A Bay Area native, Kim graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University. Kim's passion is to create platforms and opportunities for those youth who otherwise do not have a voice or access to basic resources and opportunity. She continued her education at the University of East Anglia, England and the BC Metro Language School, Barcelona receiving a minor in Third World Studies and an Advanced Degree in Spanish. Kim has repeatedly volunteered with the Faces of Hope organization as a translator to help deliver corrective surgeries for children in Guatemala with the greatest need and the least access to medical care. She actively serves as the Youth Chair and President to her local San Leandro Rotary club,  Board of Director for the San Leandro Improvement Association and Board of Director for Compete Youth, San Francisco. Her dedication to youth empowerment continues in her home town as the Director of  Programs & Operations for the Boys and Girls Club of San Leandro.
