Natalie Sedano

Desert/Mountain SELPA
Prevention and Intervention Lead Specialist
Natalie Sedano is a Prevention and Intervention Lead Specialist at Desert/Mountain
SELPA. Desert/Mountain SELPA covers the 20, 627 square
mile region within the area that extends from the mountains to
the border of Arizona within San Bernardino County. She is part
of a team supporting 36 LEAs and PBIS in 137 schools. Natalie
has been in the field of education for over 12 years. She holds a
Masters degree in Educational Counseling and is currently
working on a Masters degree in School Psychology. Natalie has
worked as a special education aide, a school counselor and an
intervention specialist for at-risk youth. Natalie has been a
school site and district PBIS coach. She is an advocate for
systems and ensuring that the “whole” child is addressed.
Enthusiastic and determined, her role as an external PBIS coach

extends beyond the PBIS Team but also how to bridge site and
district levels for the implementation and sustainability of PBIS.
Currently, Natalie is a PBIS Systems Trainer, School-Wide
Information Systems (SWIS/CICO) Facilitator and Youth
Mental Health First Aid Trainer.
