Tamara Clay has been committed to improving outcomes for students with disabilities for over 20 years. She began her career as a special day class teacher, serving students with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Since then, Tamara has worked on behalf of students with disabilities in the capacity of special education administrator, program specialist, and in her current position as the El Dorado County SELPA Director. Tamara provides support and training to schools and districts throughout the El Dorado County network and across the state, emphasizing the value of building cohesive schoolwide systems to ensure that all students succeed.
